Frequently Asked Questions

4. What is your style of poetry?

Check out the “apples” page if you have not done so already. It breaks down my style, and a batch of examples.

5. Do we have to have a conversation?

In the past, I always let the customer choose the topic they want. I still do, though, only for people in a rush, or for children. For me, there is no better experience for the customer, than to just chill and chat. It gets the most out from you, which allows me the most details to work from.

Now, if you are shy, no worries. I will be asking the questions, telling stories, and cracking jokes (I’m pretty good at it). Combine that with a warm sunny day and a nice seat on the floor, you and I will be two seeds in an apple.

6. What if I don’t have $20 to give?

Trust me, I’ve been a college student once. Also, living in the big apple is very expensive. One of my goals is to build community. I have return customers every week, who donate what they can. That’s fine. As long as you love what I do, and want to come by and support, then, just tell me when you get here, and you can give what you have.

7. What if I’m just curious on what you do?

Yeah, we can just sit and chat. Maybe we have something in common. I love to make new friends.

8. What if I’m giving this poem to someone else?

Well, one, that’s cool that you’re thinking of giving something to someone else. Fortunately, nothing changes. Just schedule a sit down, let’s converse and see what type of poem works best for that special person.

9. Do I have to sit on the mat?

Yeah.

10. Can my friends sit on the mat with me?

Hell yeah.
